Travel by the underground brings you to Watford Metropolitan Line station, just a few minutes walk from the park.
By mainline trains, Watford Junction is just over a mile away.
Car parking can be found at the Avenue car park, Hempstead Road/The Avenue Roundabout, WD17 4NR, (What3Words: moss.boil.gazed) or other town centre car parks. The Gade car park is only a short walk from the park and is another good option - https://citipark.co.uk/car-
Should you choose to park in the local surrounding roads, please be courteous and keep all access and driveways clear.
The course will take runners across and down the park. After crossing the river and canal by bridges that have a tarmac path, the runners will proceed to Whippendell Wood. From the bottom of the hill the runners will complete 2 laps of the wood before returning up the hill and retracing steps back to the start. Trail shoes are often a good option for this race.
Temporary toilets will be available at the start/finish and further loos can be found underneath Daisy's café, near the play area, down the park. We have been asked not to use the toilets in the Café in the Park, which are for café customers only.
Ealing Eagles are supporting Watford Joggers, but if you have any travelling supporters that wish to volunteer there will be tasks available at the finish.

Want to join the best baggage team in the business at the LONDON MARATHON on April 26th?
We need 30 volunteers in total. (After that you wil be in reserve)
Please consider signing up – especially if you have not done it before, it’s hard work but a really fun day out. As well as providing a chance to help out our fellow runners, we also get a bit of cash, we also get a guaranteed place for the following year’s London marathon, which we put into a raffle for eligible members at the Xmas Party. Oh and most importantly: you get volunteer points towards the club championship!
Transport is provided there and back as usual and you get volunteer kit (usually a jacket and T-shirt).
If you haven't volunteered before, you will need to register on another system. Don't worry though details will be sent out explaining what you need to do shortly after you sign-up.
If you have any questions you can post them to the volunteer email: volunteer@edmontonrc.co.uk

To make the magic happen we need at least 70 volunteers so please do save the date. More details on how you can help will be sent out in the summer.
