Want to join the best baggage team in the business at the LONDON MARATHON on April 27th?
We need 30 volunteers in total.
Please consider signing up – especially if you have not done it before, it’s hard work but a really fun day out. As well as providing a chance to help out our fellow runners, we also get a bit of cash, we also get a guaranteed place for the following year’s London marathon, which we put into a raffle for eligible members at the Xmas Party. Oh and most importantly: you get volunteer points towards the club championship!
Transport is provided there and back as usual and you get volunteer kit (usually a jacket and T-shirt).
If you haven't volunteered before, you will need to register on another system. Don't worry though details will be sent out explaining what you need to do shortly after you sign-up.
If you have any questions you can post them to the volunteer email: volunteer@edmontonrc.co.uk

We are delighted to share that Edmonton RC has 14 ‘community places’ for The Big Half on Sunday 7th September. The Big Half is a great event, starting by Tower Bridge and finishing beside the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. The community places are £25, which is an absolute bargain.
To register your interest for one of these Community Places, please sign up via the club calendar for the ‘Big Half Community Place – Registration of Interest’ via the following link (you need to be logged into the club website). The deadline for registering your interest is March 23rd.
In the event that there are more than 14 members who would like a Community Place, the committee has decided there will be a ballot in which priority will be given initially to ERC Members who volunteered twice or more in 2024 (as indicated by registering 20 or more points for volunteering in the 2024 club championship table). Those who are successful in securing a place will be notified by the end of March, and will then be provided with the details on how to secure your place.
