Would anyone who’s doing the Welwyn Half be able to offer me a lift. I’m not sure if I’ll have access to a car that day.
A bit ‘last minute’ this year but I’ve just created a ‘mini league’ for Edmonton Running Club for the Talk Sport Premier League footy prediction comp.
Sign up at http://predictor.talksport.con and use the mini league code: f6e5r.

Hi Lorraine, I’m after some extra kit so I can get it customised – when can I next buy some?

Please read – The second Gary Collins Handicap race will now take place on TUESDAY 10th JULY. The change is due to the England football match.
If England get through to the semi final I may have to move the date again.
Look out for further posts.
I’ll be getting the train to Harlow tomorrow for the MWL from Tottenham Hale. Harlow Town if others are meeting there or maybe Harlow Mill as the venue seems walkable from there (albeit slower and less frequent service).
What are others doing?
Either route seems reasonable, but to Harlow Mill these are the options:
Liverpool Street-Harlow Mill 17:43 -> 18:21
Liverpool Street-Harlow Mill 18:13 -> 18:51
Liverpool Street (via Harlow Town) ->Harlow Mill 17:54 (18:43) -> 18:46
It’s a 20 mins walk from Harlow Mill
If we miss the connection to Harlow Mill just get in a taxi?
I have received this from Cancer Research UK – a local event you may be interested in.
Race for Life is a series of women-only 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy, half
marathon and hiking events taking place all over the country this summer.
Women of all ages and abilities come together to walk, jog or run together
to help beat cancer. All women are welcome, regardless of whether they’re
taking part in a group or on their own and whatever their fitness level.
Our Lee Valley Race for life events are taking place on Sunday 7th October
and we have a 5k, 10k and half marathon on offer. We would love your
support in encouraging women to take part, as well as both men and women
to volunteer! Race for Life Half Marathon is an ideal event for women
looking to do their first half marathon, with no pressure on the time
taken to finish.
The 13.1 mile route follows a scenic course along the wide tarmac paths and tow paths of Lee Valley, skirting beautiful lakes, open countryside and the River Lea. Aside from one steady incline near the mid-point, this course is completely flat making it a largely gentle route.
Take part. Raise money. Beat cancer sooner. Sign up for Lee Valley #RaceforLife 5k, 10k or half marathon right now:

Anyone getting the train for Wednesday’s MWL? If so, what station? what time? any pickups or cab shares planned? Thanks.
Hi Marc, I’ll be on the train from Moorgate but don’t know what time. Seems like the venue is equi-distance from Hitchin and Letchworth and a bit of a trek from both. Will certainly need a lift back ….
